About The Event

Are you teaching movement sessions online?

Are you feeling confident and sure about how to give your clients the best experience and making it easy for yourself while you're at it? If not, read on.

Whether you're teaching Pilates, yoga, dance, functional fitness, martial arts, personal training and so much more this master class has been created with you in mind.

I'm a Pilates instructor with over 10-years experience in studios. I know from first hand experience that movement teaching has it's own unique nuances as you guide clients through practices, movement and techinques that we were ultimately trained to teach in person.

With over 20-years of experience in the film and television industry I've created my online teaching experience so that my loyal clients, based all over Australia and internationally, continue to practice with me online each week 18 months after I laumching my offering.

In this free masterclass that I created for movement teachers I take you through 5 steps that you can implement with ease. You will be able to set yourself up so that you can be in your zone to give your clients the best possible experience while ensuring you also take care of yourself.

We cover topics from setting up your space, equipment, light, sound and lots of things in between. How to work with what you have and how you can enhance the experience.

1. Setting up your space

2. Light

3. Sound

4. Camera

5. Camera position

Masterclass attendees will receive a downloadable workbook to support you applying what you learn into practice.

Q&A

There will be an opportunity to ask your burning questions and discuss practical solutions.

'I'm teaching zoom with my iPhone (the whole hotspot, laptop, camera thing isn't working). I'm on a concrete floor with exposed brick walls and clients say I am very echoey. Would either a directional mic or podcast mic help, or is it just the space acoustics?'

What people are saying

With 2 small children I wouldn't be able to attend Pilates regularly if the classes weren't online. The classes are incredibly tailored classes to our needs and the differences I have noticed in all areas of my life has surprised me. The diversity of we were are all based adds a layer of connection I hadn't expected. I appreciate how clear the sound and vision are so that I can focus without interuption. I particularly love the check-in at the beginning of each class immediately helping me connect into my body - Miranda Ivey, online Pilates client

I have enjoyed Penny’s early morning online Pilates class for about 18 months now. I find having it online is a big help when it starts at 6 or 6.30am, as with no drive time I can have a quick coffee beforehand. Penny connects with each of us briefly at the start of each class. This means I feel part of a group, which I like. Penny has made sure her vision and sound quality are good making it easy for me to participate. She is also adept at noticing fine details of our movements on screen. Penny is a great Pilates teacher! - Sue Hetzel, online Pilates client

So grateful for your share today. Was absolutely inspiring and informative! My best take home was the podcast mic … unbelievable sound quality - Amanda Erlank, Movement Mentor

Thank you for your generosity in sharing your knowledge with us - Lynn Walker,  Pilates Instructor
