Roller Skating morning for the ladies

By popular request women's roller skating lesson is here. The ladies asked and we delivered.

This seriously fun roller skating lesson has been created specifically for women for all levels.

Have you ever wanted to try roller skating, skated as a kid and would like to get back into it or would like to hone your skills and play on 8 wheels more?

Do you skate and want some skills to be take your roll along the beach side paths with confidence?

Or are you ready to take things up a notch with street or park tricks?

Or maybe you're like me and want to give it a whirl, but don't know where to start?!!

If you knew you could head out and give it a try with a supportive group of women and skilled instrcutors to show you the ropes with no pressure would you give it a go? 

What makes this different?

Together we've created a supportive, fun experience with your own personal cheer squad. A Pilates warm up specifically for roller skating so you can make the most of your experience. 

Maximum of 20 women with a ratio of 1 coach to 5 skaters (rather than the usual 1:10) means you will have fun whether you're a complete newbie or wanting to play with learning and honing more techincal skills.

Your experience includes

07:00am: 30 minutes to check-in, opportunity to have a coffee, chat with your fellow roller skatees, your host Pixie aka Penny and your skateboard instructor team

07:30am:  30 minutes Pilates warm up specific to roller skating

08:00-9:30am:  1.5 hour roller skating lesson with the team from Fun Daze

Safety equipment; helmet, knee pads, elbow pads and wrist guards are included

Skate hire: additional $10 (only available for tickets purchsed before )

Lots of support and encouragement

*We start early so we have the park to ourselves as much as possible and you can enjoy the remainder of your Sunday with a fun brunch or lunch with friends new and old after the lesson

**Children; while we are not offering a creche or baby sitting service children are welcome to come along and hang out at the park too (please indicate if you will be bringing children when registering).

What to bring and wear

• Yourself; and a mindset ready to give it a go and have some fun
• Wear; something you're comfortable staking in. Roller skates if you own your own, or bring socks suitable to wear with boots if you're hiring them for the morning.
• Water and snacks; please bring your own water bottle. You will be able to refill on site
• Hat; You may also like to bring a hat for sun protection / hat hair management after wearing your helmet during the lesson.
• Two Amigos cold brew coffee is offered for all of you amazing women. If you have a reusable coffee cup that's fab if not we have compostable coffee cups
• Sunblock; we have sunblock available for your use however if you have sensitive skin please bring your own

**All the protective equipment is supplied so you don't need any fancy pants gear to get started. If you do have your own you're welcome to bring it along.

***If you don't own your own skates because you'd like to try it out before investing in your own pair they will be available for hire - please indicate your shoe size in US and European sizes so we can ensure we have the bases covered. 

****Special bonus. For joining us on the day you get a $20 discounted on Impala roller skates when purchased from Fun Daze ie $130 down from $150 retail. Please email if you would like to purchase skates and your size and we'll make sure we have them on site for you. Limited colours available.
