About The Event

The popular women's skateboord lesson is returning. 

Dates are yet to be determined and will be posted and available to register as soon as we can.

Join VIPlay to be the first to know when dates are released and get in early as the first event was a sell out well in advance.

Have you ever wanted to try skateboarding? 

If you knew you could head out and give it a try with a supportive group of women and skilled instrcutors to show you the ropes (kit supplied) with no pressure would you give it a go? 

This fun, nurturing skateboard lesson has been created specifically for women who want to give it a whirl, but don't know where to start or used to skate as a kids are rusty and would love to play again, are a little intimidated by it and would love a supportive, fun experience with their own personal cheer squad.

Your experience includes

07:30am: 30 minutes to check-in, opportunity to have a coffee, chat with your fellow skateboardees, your host Pixie aka Penny and your skateboard instructor team

08:00am:  30 minutes Pilates warm up

08:30-10:00am:  1.5 hour skateboard lesson with the team of skate board coaches

Skateboard equipment; skateboard, helmet, knee pads, elbow pads and wrist guards are included

Lots of support and encouragement

*We start early so we have the skatepark to ourselves as much as possible and you can enjoy the remainder of your Sunday with a fun brunch or lunch with friends new and old after the lesson

**Children; while we are not offering a creche or baby sitting service children are welcome to come along and hang out at the skate park too (please indicate if you will be bringing children when registering).

What to bring and wear

  • Yourself; and a mindset ready to give it a go and have some fun
  • Wear; something you're comfortable staking in and runners or similar shoes ie no thongs / jandals or heals (I like to wear jeans and sand shoes)
  • Water and snacks; please bring your own water bottle. You will be able to refill on site
  • Hat; You may also like to bring a hat for sun protection / hat hair management after wearing your helmet during the lesson.
  • We have had a slight change of plans with the coffee caravan no longer joining us however there will be complimentary Two Amigos cold brew coffee for all of you amazing skateboarding women. If you have a reusable coffee cup that's fab if not we have compostable coffee cups
  • Sunblock; we have sunblock available for your use however if you have sensitive skin please bring your own

**Skateboards and all the protective equipment is supplied so you don't need any fancy pants gear to get started. If you do have your own board you're welcome to bring it along.

Maximum 20 participants to ensure a fabulous experience. 

Interest indicates tickets will sell quickly so reserve your spot.
